The French know how to make delicious food. And the restaurants below make food that you’ll remember fondly for years to come. These are the places where you need to eat on the French Riviera.

French cheese, wine, bread, and stews are the stuff of dreams. But even fresh fruit and vegetables in France are mouth-wateringly good.

Each of the restaurants listed below serve some of the best food you’ll ever have in your life.

So pull up a chair as we proudly present, the places where you need to eat on the French Riviera!

If you love cheese (or even just casually enjoy it), then you need to visit La Cave du Fromager.

As the name suggests, this restaurant is located in a cave and specializes in cheese. Really, what more could you ask for?

Anything you get here will be absolutely decadent. My mouth is watering just remembering those savory flavors.

And the ambiance of the stone walls and wine-lined shelves makes you feel like you’re in a place lost in time.

La Cave du Fromager is just amazing.

Le Milano, Antibes

It may surprise you that one of the best places to eat on the French Riviera is actually an Italian restaurant.

But what an Italian restaurant.

The dishes at Le Milano in Antibes are a light, delicate take on Italian fare. You leave there satisfied, but not overly full, after experiencing the best Italian meal of your life.

Please let me live vicariously through you. Please visit Le Milano and tell me all about the wonderful dishes you enjoyed.

Chez Lulu, Antibes

You’ve likely never had a dining experience quite like Chez Lulu in Antibes.

When you walk into the restaurant, you’ll find that the stone-walled room is beautifully decorated with antiques.

The next thing you’ll notice is the record player, playing a mix of the chef’s favorite records from the 1960s and the 1970s.

Finally, the food. Ah, the delicious food. All the food is served family style in uniquely different serving platters. The platters are stationed at tables around the room, giving you an opportunity to explore the beautiful space as you serve yourself.

I highly recommend Chez Lulu for its incredible experience and food.

Plage Joseph, Antibes

The Plage Joseph is a luxurious beach club and restaurant in Antibes.

It’s not often that you find delicious food at a beach restaurant, but Plage Joseph manages to do just that.

I had one of the best stir fry dishes of my life while at Plage Joseph. While it may be risky to eat a stir fry dish in a bathing suit, I say YOLO. And my risk paid off with an amazing meal.

Call in advance to reserve beach chairs for the day and enjoy the restaurant at lunch.

Pam Pam, Antibes

While in Antibes, we asked many of the local residents where they loved to go for a fun night on the town.

Without fail, every single one of them said “Pam Pam”.

The Pam Pam is a Brazilian cafe that features Brazilian dancers and drinks in fun containers made of coconut shells.

You cannot go to the French Riviera and miss out on a trip to Pam Pam. As the local residents attest, it’s a must-do experience when visiting Antibes.

I hope this list of places where you need to eat on the French Riviera has helped you to plan your trip. I know that I’ll be planning a trip back as soon as possible. Happy travels!
