This is my last week in Iowa before I head back to Virginia.
My mom and I have been busy visiting fun, social-distance-approved outdoor spaces. One of the places we visited was a beautiful sunflower field outside of Boone, Iowa (886 T Avenue for all you Iowans!).
This is the type of flowering field that people hop on planes to fly hundreds of miles to see. Now, with most international travel on hold, people are discovering hidden gems in their own communities. It’s great to see people exploring their home towns and supporting local communities.
