Welcome to Weekly Explorer No. 13!
Hello from Charlottesville!
I made the last-minute decision on Sunday to come to Charlottesville for the week. I’m teleworking during the day and exploring the area during the evening.
I spent four years in Charlottesville while attending the University of Virginia. But I was a little too buried in the library to spend much time exploring.
Students aren’t back yet (they’re coming back this weekend), so that’s given me the chance to explore without the crowds. Nearly everyone is wearing masks and respecting social distance.
While there are many negatives associated with this pandemic, I’m trying to embrace the positives. One of them is the ability to telework at different locations like Charlottesville.
